Barricade 500EC Insecticide

For effective timber pest control, use Barricade 500EC. This product also tackles a range of crawling insects like cockroaches, fleas, mosquitoes, ants, and spiders. Thanks to its liquid synthetic pyrethroid formulation, Barricade 500EC Insecticide efficiently handles wood pests such as house borers, powder post beetles, two-toothed longhorns, and dry wood termites.

Typically, a single treatment offers complete control with long-lasting protection. For warehouses and silos, thermal fogging with Barricade 500EC addresses both flying and crawling insects in their harborages. However, note that thermal fogging provides limited residual control and the product is not compatible with natural rubbers.

Applications Include:

• Ants: Treat nests, runs, walls, and drains.
• Cockroaches: Apply to walls, skirting boards, and behind sinks.
• Flies & Mosquitoes: Use on walls, ceilings, and exposed surfaces.
• Spiders: Target nests, hiding spots, and exposed surfaces.
• Silverfish: Focus on areas like skirting boards and furniture.
• Aircraft Disinsection: Spray all interior surfaces, avoiding electrical equipment.
• Timber Treatment: Apply to framing, joinery, and furniture for protection against wood-boring insects.

Important: Avoid contact with food, food preparation surfaces, and food utensils. Remove or cover food before application, and do not use in areas where food is processed or stored. Wash all food contact surfaces thoroughly before reintroducing foodstuffs.

Directions for Use:

1. General Use: Mix 25ml with 5 liters of water for a 100m² area.
2. Carpets & Fabrics: Use 25ml in 5 liters of water, applying 50ml per m².
3. Thermal Fogging: Apply 50-100ml per 1000m³.
4. Aircraft: Initial treatment—200ml in 5 liters of water; Routine—100ml in 5 liters.
5. Clothing: Dip in 12ml per liter of water, then dry.
6. Fabric & Mosquito Nets: For nylon, cotton, and canvas, use 15ml in water as specified.
7. Timber: Mix 40ml in 10 liters of non-staining oil or kerosene.
