How Ecobird Works

The Ecobird Diffuser atomises Ecobird 4.0 Bird Repellent into ultra-fine particles approximately 2 microns in size.

Ecobird 4.0 contains Methyl Anthranilate (MA), a naturally occurring compound found in grapes and commonly used in food flavourings and fragrances.

When birds inhale Methyl Anthranilate, it stimulates the trigeminal nerve system around the eyes, throat and beak. This causes temporary irritation and discomfort, encouraging birds to leave and avoid the treated area.

Humans and other mammals process Methyl Anthranilate differently and generally notice only a sweet grape-like scent.

The result is a non-lethal bird deterrent that helps turn problem areas into a “No-Go Zone” for nuisance birds.
