English Medania Spinach (Spinacea oleracea) is a modern variety, heavy cropper of excellent quality with thick dark green leaves.  It is slow to establish but has a resistance to mildew.  Harvested as baby leaves, or when mature, a flavorsome variety that freezes well.

How To Grow:

  1. Sow thinly, 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart.
  2. Thin out to 30cm apart. Water well during dry spells.
  3. Repeat at 3 weekly intervals for a continuous crop.

When To Plant: Late Summer to early Winter.
