How to Install?
Installation Steps for EverWarm Infrared Outdoor Heater
Tools Required: Pencil, Hammer, Level, Screwdriver, Power drill and Drill Bits.
ATTENTION! The appliance must be installed on solid surfaces such as concrete, wood, or metal.
Prepare the Area: Start by ensuring the ceiling or wall surface where you plan to install the heater is solid. Suitable surfaces include concrete, wood, or metal. Before you begin drilling, check for hidden water pipes or electrical wires to avoid any potential hazards.
Mounting Bracket and Drill Holes: Use the provided mounting bracket to mark the positions on the surface with a pencil. Proceed to drill holes at the marked positions, ensuring the surface is solid and free of obstructions.
Attach Brackets and Mount the Heater: Fasten the brackets securely to the surface using the supplied nuts and screws.
Attach the heater to the brackets using the supplied nuts and bolts. Ensure the heater is firmly and securely fastened to prevent any movement or dislodging.
Adjust the Heater Angle: Adjust the angle by loosening the two bolts on the wall mounting bracket. Once the desired angle is reached, tighten the bolts. Avoid positioning the heater at an angle greater than 90 degrees or less than 45 degrees.
Connect the Supply Cable: Ensure the supply cable is positioned at the lower end if the heater is installed at an angle or vertically.
Things to Remember while Installing
Safety Clearances: Maintain a minimum clearance of 1m (39.4”) from the heater to living beings. Ensure at least 1m (39.4”) clearance from the front side of the heater to materials like wood, cardboard, or cloth. Always maintain a minimum clearance of 0.5m (19.7”) from adjacent walls. Do not install the heater on an inflammable surface. Additionally, observe minimum safe distances between the heater body and inflammable surfaces.
Heater Positioning: For wall mounting, ensure the heater is at least 2.4 meters (94.5 inches) above the ground. The same height applies for ceiling mounting. Maintain a minimum distance of 0.4 meters (15.8 inches) between the heater and the ceiling when wall-mounted.
For vertical mounting, keep at least 0.4 meters (15.8 inches) from corners, and 0.5 meters (19.7 inches) for horizontal mounting. When installed on the ceiling, maintain a distance of 0.5 meters (19.7 inches) from corners.
Electrical Connection: If using the heater outdoors, use a weather-proof outlet. Ensure the heater is disconnected from the electricity supply before starting installation. Allow the heater to cool before installation.
Supply Cable: Keep the cable away from the heater body to prevent overheating. Secure the cable to the metal mounting bracket behind the heater using plastic zip ties.
Important Safety Instructions:
- Read All Instructions: Ensure you read all instructions before using this heater.
- Hot Surfaces: This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles, if provided, when moving this heater.
- Keep Combustible Materials Away: Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from the front, sides, and rear of the heater.
- Avoid Water: Do not use this heater near or in proximity to a bath, swimming pool, or any other source of liquid. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Unplug When Not in Use: Always unplug the heater when it is not in use.
- Not for Bathroom Use: This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms, or similar indoor locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do Not Cover: Ensure the heater is never covered.
- Proper Mounting: The heater should always be wall or ceiling-mounted in well-protected environments and should be kept at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from any combustible objects.
