Very good trap, much better than standard Victor trap
Great trap! Finally a trap that really works on rats!! Easy set, 2 settings, not messy and stronger than other rat traps. Definitely recommend.
Victor traps are awesome, but the attachment is ultimately pricey (I assume to cover prototyping costs) and requires a lure to be attached to a spike and they need to pull this which will be too risky for some rats. I drill a hole in almonds, but no catches yet. I bought this for trap shy Norway rats that won’t readily enter a trap box, but seems they don’t like this either. The design should prevent by-catch which is great. I haven’t tested on ship rats, but should work better for them. A better design would incorporate the standard yellow Victor treadle plate. Quality and fit seems good.
