Replacing the Bulb

Unplug the unit – Always disconnect the device from the power source before servicing to ensure safety.
Remove the BULB cover – Locate and remove the screws or fasteners holding the bulb cover in place.
Remove the old bulb – Carefully twist the bulb a quarter turn to release it, then pull it out of the socket.
Insert the new bulb – Insert the new compatible UV bulb into the socket and twist to secure it in place.
Reassemble – Replace the top cover and secure it with the screws.

I was impressed by how many mosquitoes this trap catches nightly. The dual UV lights and mosquito lure seem to work well. It’s held up well through wind and rain so far

Hate being attacked by mossies when we are having a BBQ. One of my friends taid try this unit as it does really work.. Bought it and set it up and life became happy again outside at night. I bought 2 so I could cover both sides of the home…The units are amazing Catches so many Mossies. My advice is buy one!!!

Hi Lynd, Yes this trap is designed for outdoor use and can be left out in regular rain. It’s built to withstand normal weather conditions and give year‑round protection outdoors.

That said, like most outdoor mosquito traps it’s best placed in a sheltered spot (e.g under some cover or shade) and avoid exposing the power connection directly to heavy rain or storms for safety and longevity.

Hi Andrew, yes the Dominator is designed to run continuously. Keeping it on 24/7 provides the best results, as insects are most active at night and this helps break the breeding cycle. You may reduce runtime later once insect numbers are under control.
