The Pestrol DualWave 200 Ultrasonic Rat & Mouse Repeller provides a simple, low-maintenance way to help discourage rodents from large, open indoor areas.
It is particularly well suited to garages, sheds, workshops, storage areas and other spaces where rats and mice may find shelter, nesting material or stored food.
Simply position the unit in an open area, plug it into a mains power outlet and leave it operating continuously.
What Makes the DualWave 200 Different?
Many basic plug-in rodent repellers rely only on a small ultrasonic speaker and are intended for individual rooms.
The DualWave 200 combines two forms of rodent deterrence:
- Ultrasonic sound: Produces changing high-frequency sound between 25kHz and 65kHz, helping make the surrounding area less comfortable for rats and mice.
- Pressure-wave technology: Provides an additional form of disturbance to help discourage rodents from remaining in the protected area.
This dual-action output makes the unit a practical choice for larger, less furnished spaces where ordinary domestic plug-in repellers may provide insufficient coverage.

One DualWave 200 can cover an open, unobstructed indoor area of up to approximately 200 square metres.
Ultrasonic sound travels best through clear, open space. Walls, doors, furniture, shelving, stored boxes and other solid objects can block or absorb the sound.
For divided buildings or multiple rooms, use one unit in each separate area requiring protection.

No Poison, Dead Rodents or Ongoing Bait Refills
The DualWave 200 does not contain poison and does not trap or kill rodents. Instead, it is designed to make the protected area less appealing for rats and mice to inhabit.
There are no bait blocks to replace, traps to reset or dead rodents to dispose of. Once installed, the unit can be left operating continuously as part of your ongoing rodent prevention programme.
How to Position the Repeller
Correct placement is important for achieving the best possible coverage.
- Place the unit in the same open area where rodent activity has been noticed.
- Position the front of the unit towards the area requiring protection.
- Keep the speaker area clear of furniture, boxes and shelving.
- Do not position the unit behind cupboards or inside enclosed cabinets.
- Leave the unit operating continuously, including overnight.
- Use additional units where walls or closed doors divide the building.
What Results Should You Expect?
Rodent activity and building layouts vary, so results will not always be immediate. Allow approximately one to three weeks of continuous operation when assessing the unit.
The DualWave 200 is best used as part of a complete rodent-control strategy. For established infestations, also remove accessible food and water, seal entry points and consider using suitable traps or secured bait stations.

It works great in my shed, but didn’t do much in the hallway. Seems best for big, open spaces as advertised.
