- Can the Pestrol Solar Animal Away Elite be set to only emit control measures inaudible to humans?
For the quietest operation, set the Mode to Ultrasonic and select a Fixed Ultrasonic frequency. The sound is still audible if you are next to the unit, but from a distance it should not bother humans. It won’t be completely silent, but this setting minimises noise for people while still effectively deterring pests.
Quite impressed so far. I hope it can charge itself over winter. No cats or evidence of cats in my vegetable patch seen since installation. I am much happier recently.
This product works. We have been plagued with birds eating out tomatoes just as they were ripening. Was going to have to put netting around but gave this a try first. This product is working. Well worth the cost.
