- Can the Pestrol Solar Animal Away Elite be set to only emit control measures inaudible to humans?
For the quietest operation, set the Mode to Ultrasonic and select a Fixed Ultrasonic frequency. The sound is still audible if you are next to the unit, but from a distance it should not bother humans. It won’t be completely silent, but this setting minimises noise for people while still effectively deterring pests.

Situated upon a tennis court & trying different locations & angles. Live bird noises not that effective & startling to any visitors, and no birds at night, so strobe bit of over-kill. So relying upon ultrasonic buzz. Not sure if the 25m range of the sensor is that effective – more like 8-10m.
