Sugarloaf Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) is a popular variety with great flavour cooked or fresh.

How To Grow:

  1. Drop seeds 15mm deep in seedbed, tray or punnet.
  2. Keep moist.
  3. Transplant to final positions when they have developed 2-4 leaves.
  4. Allow 40-60cm between plants; firm in and keep well watered.

When To Plant: Early Spring through to early Autumn.

Harvest: When heads are firm but quite small.
