Cosmos Sensation Mixed (Cosmos bipinnatus) are sensational single flower heads, in a range of reds, pinks and whites. The finely feathered foliage adds a textured backdrop to low growing plants. Cosmos are half hardy annuals, preferring a sunny position and relatively poor soil.
How To Grow:
Sow 0.5cm deep in flowering position and thin as necessary.
For even results in cooler conditions, sow 0.5cm deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Maintain gentle warmth – 16C and keep moist.
Thin (prick out) to other trays when seedlings are large enough to handle.
Harden off before planting out in late spring spacing 45cm apart.
When To Plant: Spring to late Summer.
Flowering: Late Spring to late Autumn.
