We are very happy with our purchase! It is made of resilient/weatherproof materials (great for all outdoor environments) and, importantly for us, does not present a fire hazard if accidentally tipped over (We have ours in the yacht cabin which is all timber – so fire safety is paramount). We find it’s dual charging VERY helpful – Solar charge during the day and USB charging the rest of the time. The first night we left this running all night – there was an absolute pile of dead bugs by morning so it definitely works – although it does need to be the only light/heat source to work well. The lantern is bright and works nicely for a table setting or small area like cabin or tent. Outdoors it’s good enough to avoid tripping in the dark but you cannot see far ahead with it – it’s not a torch.
